Breast cancer affects the lives of many in our community, and the fight in people who have been diagnosed with this disease is always inspirational. Preston Automotive Group (PAG) proudly supports people who have this disease, and we remain committed to raising money and awareness for a cure. In October 2014, we began our Leap For a Cure program to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. This October event is set for later this month, and we will donate $50 for every vehicle we sell. You also will receive a pink frog with every purchase in October. Ask the sales staff at Preston Mazda for additional event details. For our October 2019 program, we sold 252 vehicles across PAG, which raised $12,600. Story Behind the Pink Frog
Our first-ever special edition Preston Frog was introduced in October 2014, and it was pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Our beloved PAG employee Diana Vincent organized various breast cancer awareness events for years, and she passed away in 2017 from the disease. Each October, we go pink to remember Diana and the millions suffering from breast cancer. Our employees continue this tradition every Friday all year because we welcome them to wear pink. The American Cancer Society honored PAG in 2016 as a Community Partner for the “Driven To Inspire” event. This event wraps a Ford F-150 pickup truck model in pink, and community members and associates all sign the truck. Our fleet of pink trucks and vans make appearances at local events.
Paint the Plex Pink
One in eight women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and hosting events like Leap For a Cure, Driven To Inspire, and Paint The Plex Pink are our way to give the support they need to know we will not stop Help us find a cure by visiting Preston Mazda and the PAG family of dealerships this October for our Leap For a Cure program.
