Rumors have begun to fly about the upcoming Mazda CX-70. Slotting between the Mazda CX-50 and the Mazda CX-9, the Mazda CX-70 is anticipated to provide drivers with a luxurious and sophisticated driving experience. According to Car and Driver, drivers can expect all Mazda CX-70 models to come standard with all-wheel drive. Speculation says that the SUV will be available with either an inline-six gasoline engine with a 48-volt hybrid system or a plug-in-hybrid engine. It has been estimated that the inline-six gasoline engine will produce over 300 horsepower. The plug-in-hybrid powertrain is expected to be the same as the Mazda CX-60, allowing for 323 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque. The SUV will feature Mazda’s new platform, potentially allowing for both rear- and all-wheel drive. The Mazda CX-70 will also look similar to the Mazda CX-60, but with a wider stance. We expect the SUV to provide optimum performance, smooth handling, and refined Mazda CX-70 interior features that will make every drive feel luxurious.
